Duke’s Seafood & Chowder- Bellevue

I really wanted to like this "award-winning" entry... Sadly, mushy and salty, this offering was sub-par at best. The wrinkled sheen on the surface (see picture) betrays having too much flower, albeit a gluten-free variety.

But perhaps it was an off-day or we got something from the bottom of the barrel. My friends liked it on their previous visit and this deserves a star.

P.S. The other chowder depicted on the photo is "Lobster Monster Pernod Chowder". It was sweet, but mushy with no sign of any seafood in it.
